Snowman

Hi Crafters,

Just a quick little post today.

I have just started playing with a new die from Crafters Companion.

I love this little die. It would make a great place setting card for Christmas dinner, gift tags or even an embellishment on a card or scrapbook page.

There is more to come from this die and his little companion the snow dog which I haven't played with yet.

Thanks for stopping by . See you again soon.
Regards Sue.

It's a blue Christmas

Hi crafters,

I have another couple of cards to share with you tonight.
And I think there's a theme developing here. All my cards seem to be very blue at the moment. It must be a blue faze I'm going through ......lol....

For this card I used a spellbinders snowflake die, the stamp used is from IndigoBlu Cliffhanger Stag

After creating a mask to prevent me getting ink where I don't want it.
I sponged my background with memento inks summer sky and Paris dusk.
Then stamped the top part of the cliffhanger stamp in tuxcido black

You can't see it in the photo but I glittered around the white part of the snowflake.

The next card I want to share is this one
I have used the same spellbinders snowflake but this time I have used the fancy lattice to cut the middle

I hope you like the cards and thank you for stopping by .... I will be back soon with another card.
Regards Sue.

Faux shadow IndigoBlu

Hi crafters,

For those of you that think I have fogotten about my blog..... I haven't ...... It's just that life gets in the way....... Sorry folks.....

Any way on to this post

This card started as a demo card in a class. I had been showing how to get a faux shadow affect.
For those of that don't know..... I stamped the snowflake in a brown ink first.... Clean the stamp and then stamp the snowflake in versamark ink, offseting the image from the first, and cover with white embossing powder then heat.

You get a lovely 3D look to your stamped image.

The card was floting around the craft room for a couple of days. Then I did another class using the spellbinders snowflake and had some bits left, so I glittered  them up a bit and finished off this card with them.
The stamped used is from IndigoBlu .

Well I hope you like the card... Thank you for stopping by..... See you again soon.
Regards Sue.  :-)

IndigoBlu Christmas

Hi Crafters,

Just a quick post today......

With Christmas on it's way I have a couple of clean and simple cards to share with you.

I have used  IndigoBlu stamps for both of these cards.

Stamps used large snowflake and stag cliffhanger.

And for this card I used the Baroque Bauble.
In both cards I used the bottom part of the stag cliffhanger and stamped with Memento Paris Dusk.

Thank you for stopping by, I hope you like the cards.
See you again soon.
Regards Sue..... :-)
