Christmas is on it's way.

Hi Crafter's

I know the sun is shining ( well it is here I hope it it where you are too ) and it isn't Christmas card making weather but we have to start them some time, the earlier the better really and I'm off to a late start. Then again I'm always in a rush at the end getting them all finished.
Any way I've made a few Christmas Cards,  it may be of no surprise to you I've used quilling again.

The first card I have used Marianne design poinsettia die cutter. I then used beehive quilled  flower on top and a couple of quilled flourishes to finish.
Here is a close up....

Next card I made I wanted to do something I hadn't done on a card before. Mistletoe. I had to make up my own pattern for it, which wasn't to difficult. I looked a a picture on the internet and copied the leaf shape.

The hard part was getting it to look right on the card. You wouldn't believe me, to look at it, took me about three days of messing about before I was happy with it. There is quite a lot of torn up card in the bin now.

And now for the close up...

And now last but not least, is a little card I made using peeloffs. I'm not a big fan of peeloffs but I do like these little baubles. I have put them onto holographic card and cut them out and mounted up on my card blank.
That's all for this post, I hope you like them.

Thank you for visiting my little bog. I'll see you again soon.

Wishing you Brighter days.

Hi Crafter's

Just a quick little post to show a card

I was asked if I would do this as a class project after making the baby shower card a couple of weeks ago.
For this card I coloured the quilling strips 3 different colours with my alcohol ink markers instead of gluing three colours together. This way I got just the colours I wanted.
The sentiment is from a Hobby art sentiment set.

Well that's all for this post. I hope you like the card. Thank you for stopping by and I will see you again soon.
