Choices Choises.....

Hi Crafter's,

I bet you have been wondering where I've been for the last few weeks.
Well I have to say that the weather has been so brilliant that we have been making the most of it I'm afraid.
The only time I get to update my blog is mostly Sundays, so with the weather being as it has been, do I go out and soak up some of the glorious sunshine, or update my blog????............ Mmmmmm I don't think there is much of a contest do you. LOL

We have been getting out and doing some walking in Derbyshire. First we went to Castleton and visited Peak cavern (The Devile's Arse) one of the many caves there, and the only one you can take your dog in with you. A very interesting place and well worth a visit.
This pic is of my DH and our lab Dan, taken on the walk up to Peak Cavern.

This pic is from inside the cavern and the building you can see that looks like a stone built shed is actually a house.... The rope makers that used the cave, lived there in little houses.

We went again to Castleton the following week but this time we just went for a gentle walk to take in and enjoy the views.
Not the most spectacular photo I know but I like it.
I took this pic because I liked the view. we were walking up the hill away from Speedwell Cavern. I turned to look back and took this photo.

Last week we went walking in Edale a gentle 6 miles. Here I am at the top of Mam tour with our dog Dan.
This week end the weather has been just as wonderful and even warmer. We went walking in  Hartington this time. Another 6 mile circular walk, we got a bit lost and ended doing about 8 miles after our little detour. That was yesterday (Saturday)
To day (Easter Sunday) My DH and I went out on a bike ride on the Nutbrook Trail near where we live..... I haven't been on a bike in years......It's alright when you are going down hill..... BOY I knew about it when it came to going up the hills.....
I would much rather go on a 10 mile walk up hill and down dale than a 10 mile bike ride.

Well that's what I have been up to this past few weeks. I have been making some cards in between walks and I will be showing them in my next post.
Thank you for visiting, I hope you have had a lovely Easter break and I will see you again soon.
