Just 3 Squares...

Hi Crafter's,

What a wet and miserable day it is today. A perfect day to shut my self away and get some cards made. I do hope you are having better weather where you are.

OK it's time for the Less is More challenge, and it is week 4.
The brief for this week is........ 3 squares.
Although I like joining in with the challenges each week, I have hurt my poor little brain over this one.

I nearly didn't bother, because I couldn't think of a card right away, nothing would come to mind.
Well in the end I made two cards..... LOL I can't think of one card so I make two....

The first card I made although I am quite pleased with how this card turned out I don't think it meets the challenge some how.
Although I have 3 squares on the card they have been matted  on top of each another. Then I thought the little placards the teddy is holding would be ok but they are more of a rectangle than a square.

Stamp used in this card is one of the Fizzy Moon range from Trimcraft

OK back to the drawing board.....

This is my second attempt at this challenge and a very different card.....
The musical notes have been cut with cuttlebug dies ( Music 1 and 2 ). I then triple embossed them with clear ultra thick embossing powder.
The sentiment is computer generated and is a quote I found on the internet.
I kept it to black and white for a more striking look.

Well I think I have managed it with this one. I hope you like it. Thank you for visiting and I will see you again soon with another card.

Definitely managed it, Sue! This is indeed striking and very effective. PS. Loved the first one as well, even if it doesn't quite fit.

I think you've managed it too Sue!
I love both of these cards, but I suppose the second one, as you so rightly suggested, is probably more fitting for our challenge.
I hope your brain recovers!
See you next time!

Black and white is such a classic colour scheme and of course perfect for a music themed card.

Love both cards hun! The second is more LIM, but I still adore the first for it's cuteness. Great use of the squares on both. Hugs, Sxx. PS. I have candy if you are interested.
