Handmade Monday

Hi Crafters,

It's Monday and it is time for a little spot called Handmade Monday.
Started HERE by Wendy of 1st Unique Gifts. why not pop over and see what other people are making in their blogs on Mondays.

Here is a little card I made about a week ago. It's a one layer card...
The stamps used in this card are.......
The bench is from the Flowersoft range of stamps.
The Teddy is from the Trimcraft range.

To get the affect of teddy sitting on the bench,
first stamp him on the card and then onto a piece of copy paper,
cut this stamped image out very carefully making sure you cut right on the lines,
then position this on top of the image on the card.
Now you can stamp the bench. This takes a bit of practice.
If you want to sponge in the background mask off the bench in the same way as the teddy.
You will have to leave the teddy mask in place as well. then you can sponge your background and add the grass stamp to finish.

I then water coloured the image and stamped my greeting added a piece of ribbon then I was done.

This Birthday card is great and thanks for sharing how to do it as well :-) I have wondered how you layer things before - Is there a girl equivalent card in the making :-)

Awwww he's cute. I've not done any stamping in ages. In fact I'm going through my stamp collection as I need to destash - I could quite easily open a shop with them :)

This must take so much practice. The finished effect is great though. A great idea and well executed.

What a lovely card, I could never cut out a picture as neatly as that. You must have some patience.
