Using Peeloffs

Hi Crafters,

The next two cards have been made using peeloffs.

The first card is a 3D bauble peeloff sticker which is clear and silver. I applied it to silver card and then cut it out and built up. I used Cuttlebug polka dots embossing folder to emboss part part of the card. A Martha Stewart  punch was used to create a ribbon affect and trimmed with a straight edge peeloff, greeting is also a peeloff.

The next  card is very diffarent.
I first sponged a background using Inkadinks inks on a glossy card stock. I dragged the inked up sponge across the card working my way down the card towards the middle. To get the effect of dunes I used torn paper as a mask and kept moving it as I applied the next layer of ink. Now I have my background I put down the peeloffs onto the card. Hi-light the dunes with glitter and then finished off with a peeloff  greeting.
I then cut the created image down to fit and mount on to a folded card.

I am not a big fan of peeloffs my self but I do think they have a place in card making. Also a beginner  to card making can't always afford stamps, so a peeloff is a good alternative. That is why I produced these to show what can be done with them.
I hope I have given you a couple of ideas.

Thank you for visiting.
