I'm in the PINK

Hi crafter's

It's been a bit of a busy time for me the last couple of weeks, so I haven't had much time to update the blog for a while.

Well I know you want to see some of what I have been up to, so here you are. I have 4 cards for you to have a look at. As you will see they are all pink.

The first two are Christening cards .
I cut the cross for the cards out on my Pazzles machine.

The third card is a personalised 18th birthday card.
Here again I used the Pazzles machine to cut out the lettering for the name.

The Forth and final card for to days post is my take on a "Side Step Card"
I have made it in the form of a wedding cake.

I hope you have enjoyed looking at them as much as I did making them.
Thank you for looking and let me know what you think.

I hope they have given you some ideas.

Happy crafting
Regards Sue.

Flower Power Car

Hi Good afternoon Crafters,

Here is a fun little card I made using the Pazzles.

A customer asked me to make a thank you card for someone who takes her children to school. This is what I came up with. What do you think?

To make this card or one like it you will need,
A car image, either make your own or use a stamp ( I have created my own using the Pazzles creative Cutter),
Chalks for background, acetate for the windows, a computer and printer to make road sign.

A Dry Embossed Rose

Hi every one,
This is the second post today.

Here is a card I have made for my mums birthday.

I have used a brass stencil but before I placed the stencil on to the card stock I applied a fluid chalk to the back of the stencil, just on and around the image.

I then placed it on the card and embossed in the normal way. You then end up with a shadow around the rose.

I then used a dauber to apply fluid chalk around the edge of the card.
Tie a ribbon around the rose and mat the image onto another piece of the same card.

I used card stock from DCWV The Far East stack for a backing. I used the same fluid chalk around the edge .

I coloured gold peeloff and gems with a brown permanent marker to tie it all together.

I haven't seen this done before, I was just experimenting with my brass stencils and the idea just came to me and I wondered what it would look like. I really like the affect I got. Let me know what you think.

Why not give it a go your self

Happy crafting
Regards Sue.

A Leaving Card

Hi Good afternoon Crafters,
The Sun is shinning and it is Hot Hot Hot, isn't it wonderful.

Well I have been rather busy lately, I haven't had much time to my self, well that's enough of me moaning, the weather is far to nice to sit moaning.

Here is a leaving card I made the other day using my Pazzles Machine. The card was for a customer. They wanted a Tea Pot on the card because the person that was leaving for a new job, was the one that always seemed to be mashing a cupper for everyone. This is what I came up with...

Click on photos to get a closer look.

I created the tea pot in the Pazzles software on the computer.
This card was fun to do. Let me know what you think.

Happy crafting
